Here are some responses that I have received to the “Anybody Home” blog that wanted to find more creative ways to say that some people’s elevators just don’t seem to make it to the top floor:
Dumber than a bag of hammers.
Couldn't spell CAT if you spotted him the "C" and the "A".
If brains were dynamite, he couldn't blow his nose. (version 1)
If brains were gun powder he wouldn’t have enough to blow his nose (version 2)
A few sandwiches short of a picnic.
Doesn’t have both oars in the water
Phone’s off the hook
A couple of cans short of a six-pack
If he picked his nose his head would cave in
Couldn’t pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel
2nd grade was the best five years of his life
